Translate webpages in Chrome

When you open a webpage written in a language you do not understand, you can use Chrome to translate it.

Not working? Try refreshing the webpage. If it is still not working, right-click anywhere on the page. Then click Translate to [Language].

When you open a webpage written in a language you do not understand, use Chrome to translate it into your preferred language.

On your Android phone or tablet, open the Chrome app .
Go to a webpage written in another language.
At the bottom, select the language into which you want to translate the webpage.
- To change the default language, tap More More languages and select a language.
Chrome will translate the webpage for this session.
- To always translate webpages in this language, tap More Always translate pages in [language].

Not working? Try refreshing the webpage. If you still cannot tap Translate, the language may not be available for translation.

If Translate does not appear at the bottom of the page, you can request a translation.

Tip: To translate a language from your list, tap the language and select Offer to translate.
