Symptom: Error code [5021-27-7F33] occurs during an ECU upgrade.
Cause: The ECU returned negative response 33 to the security command during the ECU upgrade.
Solution:
1. Log out of KDS 2.0, log in again, and retry. Ensure that Wi-Fi or LTE/5G is connected when logging in.
2. Check whether the ECU upgrade was performed in Auto Mode or Manual Mode.
3. If Manual Mode was used, verify that the ECU upgrade was attempted using the correct subcategory for the ECU.
4. Check whether any aftermarket equipment is installed in the vehicle.
5. Check whether any work has been performed on the gateway installed in the vehicle.
6. If the issue persists, contact the ECU manufacturer or the vehicle R&D center.
