Symptom: Error code [5004-00-2000] occurs during an ECU upgrade.
Cause: The tablet failed to send data to the VCI when requesting the start of the ECU upgrade.
Resolution:
1. On the tablet, go to Settings and select the KDS 2.0 app > Storage > "Clear data" and "Clear cache". Restart the app, and then check whether it operates normally.
2. If the issue persists, follow the steps below.
1) Disconnect the VCI from the vehicle's OBD connector, and then reconnect it.
2) Reconnect the tablet to the VCI, and then retry the ECU upgrade.
3) If the upgrade still fails, the VCI may be faulty. Test the procedure using another VCI.
