Step 1: Verify Compatibility Before Starting the ECU Upgrade
Before performing an ECU upgrade, confirm that the update is compatible with the vehicle by checking the following:

Technical Service Bulletin (TSB):
Refer to the relevant TSB to confirm that the update applies to the vehicle. -
ROM ID and Part Number:
Verify that the ROM ID and Part Number meet the requirements for the update. -
Vehicle Details:
Confirm the powertrain, Model Year, and specific Vehicle Model to ensure compatibility.
⚠️ Proceed with the upgrade only after verifying these details. Skipping this step may result in an upgrade failure or improper ECU operation.
Step 2: Submit the Error Log Report
Submit the error log report using the Log Collection function:

Access Path:
Configuration > Error Log Collection
Navigate to:Myfiles > Internal storage > nvcidata > log > ecu
Compress the entire "ecu" folder or selected log files, ensuring that the total file size does not exceed 20MB. - Refer to the official video guide for instructions on submitting the error log.
Step 3: Notify Your Distributor and Leave a Message on GSW
Notify your distributor that you have submitted an error log report and provide the following information:
- Report number
- VIN (Vehicle Identification Number)
- Distributor or dealer code
- GSW account
