How to Resolve Kia KDS 2.0 ECU Upgrade Error: ROM File Cannot Be Found

If the diagnostic application (KDS 2.0, GENESIS Smart, KDS 2.0) displays "ROM File Cannot Be Found" or a similar error message, the upgrade file for the applicable ECU is not currently available in the system.

👉 Resolution:

First, verify that the diagnostic application is updated to the latest version. If it is not, update it and then retry the ECU upgrade.
If the same error message occurs even after the diagnostic application has been updated, contact GIT Customer Support to obtain the ROM file required for the ECU upgrade. 
Capture the error message and provide the screenshot to the support representative. The required file may vary depending on the error message.
