A Message Indicating That ROM ID Information Is Unavailable Appears During Event Setup

Symptom: A message indicating that the ROM ID is unavailable appears during event setup using Smart Dlogger.

Cause: This occurs when the ROM ID read in Auto mode or entered in Manual mode is not available on the information service server.

Resolution: Contact your Kia regional representative and request that the A2L file corresponding to the ROM ID be uploaded. The file must be available on the server during event setup so that Smart Dlogger can generate the event files (.EVT, config.dat) and complete the setup.
