Dear users,

In the following diagnostic applications, certain items under Electric Vehicle Charging System Inspection(VCMS) will be temporarily unavailable due to logic improvement. 

The issue is expected to be resolved through an internet update within July. Please refer to the upcoming internet update notice for further details.

Please take this into consideration when performing EV vehicle inspections, as these items may not function properly.

• EV Specialized Features for Hyundai, Genesis, and Kia Vehicles

※ Affected Inspection Items:

• S/W Management
  • VCMS
    • Electric Vehicle Charging System Inspection
      • Quick Charging Relay -> will not be supported
      • Charging Test(Quick) -> will not be supported

⚠️ Service Impact

During this maintenance period, the following services will be impacted:

1. Partial VIN Search (6 Digits or Less) Unavailable

   • Searching with fewer than 6 VIN characters may result in no response. If this occurs, a toast notification will be displayed to inform you as shown below.
     

2. Vehicle Production Information Unavailable

   • When accessing functions that require ECU selection (such as FCS, Sensor Data, etc.), the system will not be able to retrieve production information based on the connected vehicle's VIN.
     ※Functions are availble but Production information is not activated. 

   • A toast notification will appear to indicate the issue as shown below.

Please be informed that due to the scheduled GSW upgrade, KDS 2.0 access may also be affected. We are sharing the details in advance to help you prepare accordingly.

During this maintenance window:

• GSW will be inaccessible.
• Users who are logged out will not be able to log back in.
• However, users who are already logged in before the maintenance begins will not be affected.
• If you need to use KDS 2.0 during this time window, please make sure to log in or re-log in in advance before the local time specified in the table below.
• You should re-log in based on log in retention time shown when launching KDS 2.0

Dear Customers,

To ensure stable operation of our products, updating to Android 15 is strictly prohibited.
We have identified compatibility issues between Android 15 and our diagnostic application, which may cause malfunctions in diagnostic functions and core services.

In particular, devices upgraded to Android 15 cannot use the ‘Internet Update’ function properly.
This prevents users from updating software and data, so please take caution.

Please note that Android 15 is currently under compatibility verification with our diagnostic app, and the completion timeline is not yet determined.
Once compatibility has been confirmed and Android 15 is supported, we will provide a separate notice with further instructions.

✅ Hyundai AB Vehicle – ACU Variant Coding Failure Notice

❓ Q. I encountered the following message during ACU variant coding on a Hyundai AB vehicle. What does it mean?

A. This message indicates that the vehicle's VIN (Vehicle Identification Number) must be written to the ACU before variant coding can be performed.

🔧 How to Proceed

To complete the variant coding process, please follow the steps below to input the VIN into the ACU:

1. Download the VIN Input Patch File
   ▶ Download the attached patch file provided with this guide.[To download the patch file]

2. Apply the Patch File to the Tablet
   ▶ Transfer and apply the patch file to your diagnostic tablet.
   ▶ For detailed instructions, please refer to the video guide below.

3. Perform VIN Input, Then Proceed with Variant Coding
   ▶ Once the VIN has been successfully written, the variant coding can proceed normally.

📅 Upcoming Improvement

To improve user convenience, the following update is scheduled:

• The regular internet update on April 23, 2025, will include:
  👉 Built-in VIN input functionality for ACU variant coding

✅ After this update, no manual patch file installation will be required. The VIN input process will be handled automatically during coding.
