The Smart D-logger program closes when the laptop power cable is disconnected.

Symptom:

The Smart D-logger program closes when the laptop power cable is disconnected.

Cause:

This issue is related to the laptop's power settings.

Solution

Check the "Power Options" settings and the "Task Scheduler" conditions on the laptop.

1. "Power Options" settings

   (1) Go to "Control Panel." 

   (2) Click "Power Options."
     

   (3) Click "Change plan settings."   

   (4) Click "Change advanced power settings."  

   (5) Set "Wireless Adapter Settings" -> "Maximum Performance."

2. "Task Scheduler" conditions

   (1) Go to "Control Panel." 

   (2) Click "Administrative Tools."

   (3) Click "Task Scheduler."

   (4) Click "SmartDlogger."

   (5) Go to the "Conditions" tab and configure the conditions as shown below.  Then, click the "OK" button.
