How Do I Perform Event Setup in Manual Mode on CVCI II?

Event setup can be performed on the device in Manual Mode instead of Auto Mode in the following situations:

1. The vehicle is not available, but the ROM ID is known.

2. The CVCI II Bluetooth device cannot be registered in the Smart D-Logger program due to a PC issue.

Procedure: 

1) In User Options, select 'Manual Mode' as the setup type, and then click Close.

2) Select Start, and then select the device on which you want to perform event setup.

3) As shown in the image below, connect the USB cable, (C)VCI II, and OBD power adapter to supply power. 

4) After power is supplied and the device is recognized correctly, select the device under Storage.

After selecting the device, enter the ROM ID, VIN, and Mileage in sequence, and then click the right arrow.

5) Select the system and symptom to be checked, and then click the arrow to continue.

6) Event setup begins. During this process, the event file is downloaded from the server based on the ROM ID and the selected information. If the server does not contain an event file that matches the ROM ID, event setup may fail.

7) Event setup is complete.

8) After event setup is complete, drive the vehicle and proceed with recording.
