Symptom: Error code [1000-01-1010] occurs while an ECU upgrade is in progress.
Cause: Socket connection failure with the gateway (non-CCU type) when performing an Ethernet event.
Resolution:
If error code 1000-01-1010 is displayed, verify that the following requirements are properly configured.
- Does the ECU upgrade you are attempting support Ethernet communication?
- If required, is VCI 2 or VCI 3 connected to the tablet using a wired connection?
- If a wired connection is being used, is a static IP address configured in the tablet's network settings?
4. (Optional) Check the Google Play System Update version. Refer to Further Resources below.
5. (Optional) Disconnect the vehicle power connector, wait 5 minutes, perform the installation procedure, and then retry the ECU upgrade.
