Symptom: Error code [5004-00-2000] is displayed while an ECU upgrade is in progress.
Cause: Data transmission failed when the tablet attempted to send the ECU upgrade start request to the VCI.
Resolution:
1. On the tablet, go to Settings and select the KDS 2.0 app > Storage > "Clear data" and "Clear cache." Restart the app, and then verify that it operates normally.
2. If the issue persists, follow the steps below.
1) Disconnect the VCI from the vehicle's OBD connector, and then reconnect it.
2) Reconnect the tablet to the VCI, and then retry the ECU upgrade.
3) If the upgrade still fails, the VCI may be defective. Test the procedure using another VCI.
