Cause
The ECU does not respond or its response is delayed when executing the memory erase or integrity verification command.
Corrective Actions
Verify that the diagnostic tool (diagnostic app) is updated to the latest version.
Check for aftermarket equipment. Remove any aftermarket equipment found, and then retry the ECU upgrade.
The vehicle's control unit (ECU) may be faulty. At least 3 upgrade attempts are recommended.
