Checklist When ECU Upgrade Events Are Not Displayed

If the ECU Upgrade Event you want to perform is not displayed in the KDS 2.0 ECU Upgrade menu, check the following items. 

1. Verify that the target Vehicle Model matches the information provided in the TSB. For example, check the Part Number of the control unit to be upgraded, ROM ID, Vehicle Model, and model year. 

2. Verify that the distributor has copied the TSB.

   PLEASE NOTE:
   Even if the TSB was previously copied, if Kia Headquarters has modified or redistributed it, the distributor must copy the TSB again.

3. Go to ECU Upgrade - ECU Upgrade History and verify whether the event has already been performed. 

4. Verify whether the ECU Upgrade Event you want to perform is displayed in Manual Mode.
