Cause
A negative response from the ECU (control unit) to a data transfer command sent by the ECU APP (GITN_ECU).
Corrective Action
Check the vehicle battery condition.
If error code 7000-36-7F92 persists on a vehicle eligible for the ECU upgrade, the specifications must be verified with the Vehicle Quality Department or the control unit manufacturer.
How to Verify Applicability
Review the TSB and verify that the model year, engine displacement (powertrain), and ROM ID or part number of the applicable control unit match the vehicle information.
