Setup Manager Guide for Installing KDS 2.0 via USB

[Before You Begin]

1. This version of Setup Manager is intended only for the Europe-General Region.

If you are in the Americas or another Region, please disregard this article.

2. This guide is intended for customers who need to install KDS 2.0 using a USB flash drive due to limited internet access.

To download the Setup Manager Guide in your language, refer to the following instructions.

1. Connect the USB flash drive containing the Setup Manager installation file.

2. Locate the 'GDSN_SetupManager.exe' file on the USB flash drive.

3. Run 'GDSN_SetupManager.exe' to install Setup Manager, and then click the 'Next' button.

4. Click the 'Install' button. The installation will take a few Minutes.

5. Click the 'Finish' button to complete the installation.

6. Locate the 'Setup Manager' shortcut on the desktop, and then run 'Setup Manager'.

7. Enter the license key provided to you. 

The program may close after you enter the license key. If this occurs, restart Setup Manager.

8. Setup Manager will automatically check its version. 

If an Update is required, it will be performed automatically.

9. The self-Update will be performed, and the program will restart.

10. The content version associated with your license key will be displayed.

11. Select the USB drive path from the drop-down list.

Note that the USB flash drive must be Empty.

If it is not Empty, delete all data from the USB flash drive or format it.

12. If the content version is older than the current version, it will be updated.

13. Click the 'Download' button to Update the content.

The download time will vary depending on the network environment.

14. The Update files will be downloaded.

15. When the USB flash drive setup is complete, it is Ready for the KDS 2.0 installation.

Next, use 'Smart Launcher' on the tablet. 

Follow the installation instructions shown in the images.

16. After the installation is complete, KDS 2.0 is Ready to use.
