[Installation Guide] Migrating Kia KDS 2.0 to the New Server (Revised February 24, 2025)

Participation in the migration campaign is required

to continue using the diagnostic applications

This quick guide will help you complete the installation process. For detailed installation instructions, download the PDF at the bottom of this page. 

Preparation — Download the attached user guide for additional details

• Make sure Google Play Protect is turned off.
• Make sure your tablet has at least 40 GB of free storage and is running Android OS 8.0 or later.
• Make sure the tablet is connected to a Wi-Fi network that allows access to external websites.
• Record and securely store the license key shown under Configuration > User Profile. 
• If error code INT00M1 occurred, remove the old files. Refer to the attached guide for details.

Step 1: Download the Latest Version of Smart Launcher

Step 2: Authenticate Using Your License Key and ID

• Launch Smart Launcher, and then enter your valid license key and ID to authenticate your account.

Step 3: Download Resources and Complete the Installation

• The required resources will be downloaded automatically. The installation will begin after the download is complete.

Step 4: Launch KDS 2.0 and Check the Version

• After the installation is complete, launch KDS 2.0 and check the version information to verify that it is connected to the new server.
