Solutions
Step 1) Adjust IG Status
Switch the vehicle from engine OFF to IG ON status.
(Most ECUs do not allow open communication in engine ON state)
Step 2) Recheck Upgrade Mode
Check that the correct ECU/category is selected in automatic or manual mode.
Step 3) Remove Aftermarket Devices
Remove all devices that may interfere with communication, such as dash cams, communication modules, or taxi equipment, then try again.
Step 4) Stabilize Vehicle Voltage
If the battery voltage is low, connect an external power maintainer.
Step 5) Vehicle Power Reset
Caution: Some vehicle settings may be reset when disconnecting the battery (-) terminal.
