Symptom: Error code [5021-36-7000] occurs during an ECU upgrade.
Cause: This error occurs when the ECU does not respond to an ECU upgrade data transmission command or the specified time limit is exceeded.
Resolution:
1. Check whether any aftermarket equipment is installed in the vehicle.
2. Check the diagnostic tool connection and confirm that the target control module's sensor data is displayed correctly.
3. If the control module connection and sensor outputs are normal, retry the ECU upgrade.
4. Disconnect the 12 V battery power for at least 15 minutes, reconnect it, and then retry the ECU upgrade.
5. If the same failure occurs after retrying, contact GIT to test using a file with modified timing parameters.
