Cause: This error occurs when the ECU does not respond to the ECU upgrade security command or when the specified response time is exceeded.
Corrective Action:
1. Check whether any aftermarket equipment is installed in the vehicle.
2. Verify the diagnostic tool connection and confirm that sensor output from the target ECU is displayed correctly.
3. If the connection and sensor output are normal, retry the ECU upgrade.
4. If the same error occurs after retrying, contact GIT to perform testing using a file with adjusted timing.
