How to Resolve the Kia KDS 2.0 ECU Upgrade Error: ROM File Cannot Be Found

If "ROM file cannot be found" or a similar error message appears in the diagnostic application (KDS 2.0, GENESIS Smart, KDS 2.0), the ECU upgrade file is not currently available in the system.

👉 Resolution:

First, verify that the diagnostic application is up to date. If it is not the latest version, update it and retry the ECU upgrade.
If the same error message occurs even though the diagnostic application is up to date, contact GIT Customer Support to obtain the ROM file required for the ECU upgrade. 
Capture the error message and provide it to the support representative. The required file varies depending on the error message.
