Cause
The ECU does not respond, or its response is delayed, when the diagnostic tool (diagnostic app) sends an encryption command.
Corrective Actions
Verify that the diagnostic tool (diagnostic app) is updated to the latest version.
Check for aftermarket equipment. Remove any aftermarket equipment, and then retry the upgrade.
The vehicle ECU may be faulty. It is recommended that you retry the upgrade at least three times.
