Cause
The ECU does not respond or responds slowly to the memory erase or integrity verification command.
Corrective Action
Confirm that the diagnostic tool (diagnostic app) is updated to the latest version.
Check whether any aftermarket equipment is installed. Remove it, and then retry the ECU upgrade.
The vehicle ECU may be faulty. At least three retry attempts are recommended.
