Symptom: Error code [5021-36-7000] occurs during an ECU upgrade.

Cause: This error occurs when the ECU does not respond to the ECU upgrade data transfer command or the specified response time is exceeded.

Solution:

1. Check whether any aftermarket equipment is installed in the vehicle.
2. Check the diagnostic tool connection and verify that the sensor data for the target control unit is displayed correctly.
3. If the control unit connection and sensor outputs are normal, retry the ECU upgrade.
4. Disconnect the 12 V battery power supply for at least 15 minutes, reconnect it, and then retry the ECU upgrade.
5. If the same failure occurs after retrying, contact GIT to test using a file with modified timing settings.
