Basic Operation

: This section describes the basic operation of KDS 2.0.
 

Module Connection

: This section explains how to connect and pair the VCI II, GDS VCI, and TPMS modules.
 

My Service

: This feature provides direct access to useful websites.
 

Smart Diagnosis

: This function provides comprehensive diagnostic results for the selected vehicle systems.
You can simultaneously check several items, including the presence of Fault Codes, ECU upgrade Target status, and ECU mapping.

 

Expert Diagnosis

: Expert Diagnosis provides access to the diagnostic, special, and utility functions available in KDS 2.0.
 

Fault Code Search

: This function searches for Fault Codes in one or more systems installed in the vehicle. You can view detailed information about the detected Fault Codes, together with the relevant service information.
 

Smart Diagnosis

: This function provides comprehensive diagnostic results for the selected vehicle systems.
You can simultaneously check several items, including the presence of Fault Codes, ECU upgrade Target status, and ECU mapping.
 

Data Analysis

: This function uses vehicle communication to display parameter values from the vehicle control modules, including sensor signal inputs and Actuator operating data.
 

Multi-Data Analysis

: This function is similar to Sensor Data Diagnosis and allows data items from multiple control modules installed in the vehicle to be monitored and analysed simultaneously on a single screen.
* Only modules that support the CAN communication protocol are supported.

ECU Upgrade

: This function upgrades the data in the ECU (electronic control unit) to improve vehicle performance or correct a known issue. 

Actuation Test

: This function uses a control module to forcibly operate or stop an Actuator installed in the vehicle, allowing the technician to verify that the related component operates correctly.
 

Software Management

: This feature supports functions such as additional configuration after vehicle repair, testing, and initialisation.
The available items vary according to the Vehicle Type. Check the vehicle condition and follow all applicable precautions before performing a function.
 

System Identification

: This function displays specification information for the control module installed in the vehicle, including the Part Number, hardware version, and software version.
 

OBD-II

:  OBD-II mode displays generic vehicle powertrain diagnostic data. The vehicle communication protocol is detected automatically when OBD-II mode is selected.
 

Digital Field Fix

: This function checks a control module before vehicle repair or verifies the operating status of vehicle components. The available items vary according to the selected vehicle. Check the vehicle condition and follow all applicable precautions before performing a function.
 

Measurement

: This function uses the VMI measurement module to measure the actual 
waveforms of sensors and Actuator components, and uses the simulation function to 
diagnose the vehicle.
 

Recorded Data

: You can view data saved on the tablet PC and copy driving data 
saved in the VCI II.
