[Battery Pack Airtightness Test] Conditions That May Trigger the "Air Vent Check" Message

Symptom:

The "Air Vent Check" message may appear in the diagnostic application under the following conditions:

1. The pressure equalization element is missing from the air injection adapter mounting area on the EV battery pack upper case.
   • Corrective action: Properly install the pressure equalization element.
2. The silicone O-ring is missing from the bottom surface of the air injection adapter.
   • Corrective action: Install the silicone O-ring in the correct position and remove any foreign material from the sealing surface.
3. The pack inlet (pressure equalization element) installed on the battery upper case is improperly assembled and does not seat correctly against the bottom sealing surface.
   • Cause: The pressure equalization element may be clogged with foreign material or improperly assembled.

   • Corrective action: Remove any foreign material from the pack inlet (pressure equalization element) mounting area and replace the component with a new one if necessary.
