Smart D-logger shuts down when the laptop power cable is disconnected

Symptom:

Smart D-logger shuts down when the laptop power cable is disconnected.

Cause:

This issue is related to the laptop's power settings.

Solution

Check the "Power Options settings" and "Task Scheduler conditions" on the laptop.

1. "Power Options settings"

   (1) Go to "Control Panel".

   (2) Click "Power Options".
     

   (3) Click "Change plan settings".   

   (4) Click "Change advanced power settings".  

   (5) Set "Wireless Adapter Settings" -> "Maximum Performance".

2. "Task Scheduler conditions"

   (1) Go to "Control Panel".

   (2) Click "Administrative Tools".

   (3) Click "Task Scheduler".

   (4) Click "SmartDlogger".

   (5) Go to the "Conditions" tab and configure the conditions as shown below. Then click "OK".
