[Battery Pack Airtightness Test] Conditions That May Trigger the "Air Vent Check" Message

Symptom:

The "Air Vent Check" message may appear in the diagnostic application under the following conditions.

1. The pressure equalizer is missing from the air injection adapter mounting area on the upper case of the EV battery pack.
   • Corrective action: Install the pressure equalizer correctly.
2. The silicone O-ring is missing from the bottom surface of the air injection adapter.
   • Corrective action: Install the silicone O-ring in the correct position and remove any foreign material from the sealing surface.
3. The pack injection port (pressure equalizer) installed on the battery upper case is improperly assembled and is not seated correctly against the bottom surface.
   • Cause: The pressure equalizer may be clogged with foreign material or may be improperly assembled.

   • Corrective action: Remove any foreign material from the pack injection port (pressure equalizer) mounting area and replace the component with a new one if necessary.
