REVISION: The Tab S9 Series supports KDS 2.0 on Android 16 as of 13 November 2025 (KST).
REVISION: The Tab S10 Series and Tab Active 5 Pro support KDS 2.0 on Android 16 as of 22 December 2025 (KST).
Not Affected / Safe:
Tab S7 / S7+ / S7 FE and older models (which do not support Android 16) — no Android 16 rollout is expected. No action is required.

HOW TO DISABLE AUTOMATIC UPDATES
A. Samsung System (OS) Updates
- Open Settings → Software update.
- Turn Auto download over Wi-Fi (or Download updates automatically) OFF.
- If displayed, also turn Auto install updates OFF.
B. Managed Devices (MDM/EMM)
- Deploy a policy to block Android 16 and defer system updates.
- Lock automatic update-related settings and prevent users from overriding them.
* Menu names may vary slightly depending on the model or Region. If an option is not
displayed, it may be controlled by your organisation’s policy or listed
under a different name.
