[KDS 2.0] Temporary Workaround for the Persistent “User Authentication Failed (Error Code 4001)” Pop-up

Hello.
If **User Authentication Failed (Error Code 4001)** continues to occur while using KDS 2.0, please check the following.

■ Main Cause

This error may occur if there is a temporary delay while downloading the server security certificate (HSM certificate).

■ Workaround

Follow the steps below to check and resolve the issue.

1. Log in again
   • After logging in successfully, confirm that the Login Successful pop-up appears at the bottom of the screen.

1. Wait briefly
   • After logging in, wait approximately 1–2 minutes to allow the certificate download to complete successfully.
2. Establish vehicle communication
   • After waiting, proceed with vehicle communication as usual.

■ Scheduled Fix

A fix for this issue
is scheduled to be included in the regular release update on May 26, 2026.
