Solution for ACU Variant Coding Failure

🐞 Symptom

You are attempting to perform ACU (Airbag Control Unit) Variant Coding, but the procedure cannot continue because an existing DTC (Diagnostic Trouble Code) is present in the airbag system.

🔍 Cause

Airbag system Variant Coding may fail in the following cases:

• A vehicle-side fault in the airbag system
• A mismatch with EOL (End of Line) coding information

To resolve the issue, review the DTC details. After identifying and correcting the root cause, you can retry Variant Coding.

🛠️ Solution

Follow the steps below when ACU Variant Coding cannot be performed due to a DTC:

1. Check the airbag fault code and select the DTC Code.

   

2. Select "DTC Status".

   

3. Correct the cause indicated by the Information Code.
