Case 1. Test Stage or Function Failure in S/W Management
If a failure occurs during the Test stage or while performing a function, follow these steps:
- Workaround A. If the issue is not resolved, log out and then log back in while connected to Wi-Fi.
- Workaround B. Try again using a different Model Year (MY) or powertrain selection.
- Workaround C. Disconnect the 12 V battery, wait 10 minutes, reconnect it, and then retry the function.
If these workarounds do not resolve the issue, contact your distributor for further support.
Case 2. S/W Management Function Failure
If a failure message appears during the S/W Management test, or if the function cannot be performed after replacing parts—primarily ECUs and related components—, check the following possible causes and solutions:
1️⃣ Common Reasons for S/W Management Failure
- Security Authentication: Log out and then log back in while connected to Wi-Fi.
-
Communication Open: Check the app permissions and enable all permissions for GITMCommManagerService and GITN_AUX.
Essential App Permissions Guide: GLUV Logs & Wireless Connectivity Stabilization - Vehicle Condition: Try the function in each vehicle state: IG ON, ACC, and EV Ready.
2️⃣ Before You Proceed with S/W Management
An S/W Management function failure may also occur if incorrect vehicle information is selected, such as the Model Year or powertrain. Confirm that the selected vehicle information matches the actual vehicle specifications.
If the issue persists, generate a diagnostic log using the diagnostic app and contact your NSC (Distributor).

If the Distributor cannot resolve the issue, escalate it to RHQ or GIT for further investigation. When requesting support, include the following information:
- VIN (Vehicle Identification Number)
- Model
- Model Year
- Powertrain
- The specific function during which the failure occurred
