Basic Operation

: This section describes basic operation.
 

Module Connection

: Describes how to connect and pair the VCI II, GDS VCI, and TPMS modules.
 

My Service

: Provides direct access to useful websites.
 

Smart Diagnosis

: This function provides comprehensive diagnostic results for the selected vehicle systems.
You can simultaneously check multiple items, including whether Fault Codes are present, ECU upgrade Target status, and ECU mapping.

 

Expert Diagnosis

: Expert Diagnosis provides access to the diagnostic, special, and utility functions available in KDS 2.0.
 

Fault Code Search

: Searches for Fault Codes in one or more systems installed in the vehicle. Users can review detailed information about the detected Fault Codes, as well as related service information.
 

Smart Diagnosis

: This function provides comprehensive diagnostic results for the selected vehicle systems.
You can simultaneously check multiple items, including whether Fault Codes are present, ECU upgrade Target status, and ECU mapping.
 

Data Analysis

: This function communicates with various vehicle control modules to display parameter values associated with sensor signal inputs and Actuator operation.
 

Multi-Data Analysis

: This function is similar to Sensor Data Diagnosis and supports the simultaneous analysis of individual sensor items from multiple vehicle controllers on a single screen.
* Only modules that support the CAN communication protocol are supported.

ECU Upgrade

: This function upgrades data in the ECU (electronic control unit) to improve vehicle performance or correct a known issue. 

Actuation Test

: This function uses a control module to forcibly operate and stop various vehicle Actuators, allowing the technician to verify that the related components operate correctly.
 

Software Management

: Supports functions such as additional configuration, testing, and initialization after vehicle repairs.
Supported items vary by Vehicle Type. Confirm that the vehicle is in the required condition before performing a function.
 

System Identification

: Displays specification information for the controller installed in the vehicle, including the Part Number and hardware and software versions.
 

OBD-II

: OBD-II mode displays generic vehicle powertrain diagnostic data. The vehicle communication protocol is detected automatically when OBD-II mode is selected.
 

Digital Field Fix

: This function checks the controller or the operating status of vehicle components before repairs are performed. Supported items vary depending on the selected vehicle. Confirm that the vehicle is in the required condition before performing a function.
 

Measurement

: This function uses the VMI measurement module to capture the actual 
waveforms of sensors and Actuators and uses the simulation function to 
diagnose the vehicle.
 

Recorded Data

: You can view data saved on the tablet PC and copy driving data 
saved in the VCI II.
