REVISION: The Tab S9 series supports KDS 2.0 on Android OS16 as of November 13, 2025 (KST).
REVISION: The Tab S10 series and Tab Active 5 Pro support KDS 2.0 on Android OS16 as of December 22, 2025 (KST).
Not affected / Safe:
Tab S7 / S7+ / S7 FE and older models (OS16 is not supported) — no OS16 rollout is expected. No action is required.

HOW TO DISABLE AUTOMATIC UPDATES
A. Samsung System (OS) Updates
- Open Settings → Software update.
- Turn Auto download over Wi-Fi (or Download updates automatically) OFF.
- If available, turn Auto install updates OFF as well.
B. Managed Devices (MDM/EMM)
- Deploy a policy to block OS16 and defer system updates.
- Lock automatic-update settings and prevent users from overriding them.
* Menu names may vary slightly by model or Region. If an option is not
available, it may be controlled by your organization’s policy or appear
under a different name.

▶ Android does not support major-version downgrades. A device upgraded to OS16 cannot be reverted to OS15 or an earlier version.

• Wait until GIT releases the OS16-compatible Internet Update/patch.
